The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI SRC) recorded a 3.9 earthquake northwest of Port of Spain early on Monday morning.

In an update with preliminary information, the UWI SRC said the event was located 67 kilometres northwest of Port of Spain, at a depth of 32 kilometres.
